The NEW PARADIGM

Mitakuye-oyasin (all my relations) Nov. 2008 It is early I have been up since 5:00 am, outside offering tobacco to all sacred beings in gratitude for this new day and the beauty all around. It is a good to be here on the Mother Earth at this time, and what a time it is! Sharing a few thoughts and insights regarding these coming times and our part in this new paradigm. I think it is obvious to many that something is happening, a great shift is happening, not only do we see this with the escalating earth changes, but also within ourselves. We have experienced these past few years that everything seems to be falling apart. I call this the "break up and shattering" According to the Universal Law, nothing stays the same, all things must change. Change is good and necessary if we are to envision and manifest the new paradigm. All that had been put in place over hundreds of years by the Dominator Rule; the patriarchal rule" is breaking up and falling away. It is time now, an ending to what once was and a new beginning. The fulfilling of the prophecy of the re-awakening of the Sacred Feminine - of the return of the sacred feminine:deepening our relationship to the sacred self, the elemental world and the earth herself - to enter into spiritual relationship.

The new paradigm signifies that, what we once relied upon and believed in, that which we depended upon will no longer sustain us, nor will these remain. Instead we will find ourselves spun out into darkness, the void and seemingly in limbo. Confusion and fear will dominate us if we allow this and fail to realize the opportunity before us and the great teaching.

The teaching appears as the dark and yes fear and the falling away of all that we once knew. All for the purpose if we choose, to grow - to advance to become enlightened. Enlightened is to become the light to access the divine self.

We are entering a beautiful time, and although the challenges are great and pressures are upon us, we each have our part to play. It is a time to re-balance, to move further upon the sacred wheel of life, the sacred hoop and to close the gap that centuries of fear, greed and carelessness has created. Now is the time to stand against these without fear, to re-instate harmony and balance by opening our hearts to begin mending the sacred hoop.

To get to the heart of the matter, which is to realize that for too long now, society, humanity at large and all that we humans have created has through its imbalance done great harm to the earth. Now we are entering a new time, a new vibration waiting to unfold, well, it will unfold anyway, even if we ourselves do not step up to the job and take responsibility with open hearts to begin our sacred work.

With or without us a great shift is unfolding. So it would be better and to our advantage to recognize what is happening. To realize the coming times of change are part of a greater Divine plan, to put aside fear and doubt, to be in joy and gratitude holding ourselves in trust and faith in the power of light and love and all that is Sacred.

To begin, we must realize we are not powerless. Although the media would like us to believe we are. The power I speak of is Truth. Truth of an ancient knowledge and the ways of the Ancestors. Those Indigenous nations throughout the world whose knowledge of the existence of the sacred web of life, the sacred hoop and a living spirit in all things as well as humanities part in holding all in balance and harmony, this is the truth I speak of.

I believe most of us realize time is accelerating, there is a quickening and we might want to be more alert to our own part and how to move forward, to dream and envision the new paradigm. The Hopi Elders say, "to let go of the shore, to move out into the raging river and hold our heads up above the torrent and check to see who is in there with us? That raging river is the escalating changes and rapid movement and increasing chaos we are experiencing.

The river is moving fast, but to where? Perhaps we are not sure where yet, but soon every river every stream finds a quiet inlet and safe haven and still place. The raging river is a metaphor for what we see shattering all around us of the chaos and resistance we and others may be experiencing. We have been "trained" to believe in the lies of others and have been deceived by those who had set up rules and regulations in institutions of government, religion and education; all put in place by patriarchal rule who have held centuries of disregard for the Sacred Feminine. No wonder there is a break up of these systems!

To find the quiet haven the still point, we must let go of the shore, of our fear of the necessary changes and renew our trust and faith in the sacredness of all of humanity the earth and all creatures. A good way to begin is to once again come into community with others of like mind, to pray and take part in sacred ceremony for the good of all. If we are unable to find our still point our trust and faith? the changes will occur anyway and we will struggle we may not make it.

The Mother Earth has the capability to renew herself, without humanity dumping on her. She will rapidly renew and in that silence thrive once again in the coming times the New Paradigm unfolding. Deepening our relationship with the spiritual realm recognizing ourselves as one with all that is, ourselves as divine, putting aside prejudices and that which separates us to align with "One heart one mind" and to see the sacredness in others as well as ourselves, this is our most important work. This will carry us and guide us through the changes before us.

We have reached a crucial point in time; the falling away of all that once was and the determination of the Mother Earth to make her powerful statement, ENOUGH! So in order to continue to the next stage on this beautiful journey our part, our works are to deepen our own relationship with all that is sacred. With those Ancient Ones who lived in harmony and balance long before others came along with divide and conquer manifest destiny, consumerism, greed and disregard for the earth and the coming generations.

If all things once depended upon fall away, the new paradigm is, relying upon and trusting in our own inner resources and capability of developing ones own relationship with the divine source. To trust, to have faith without any doubt, to know within completely that we are one with that which is divine. And that we ourselves are the divine one. When we no longer rely upon outside sources, be these a book that claims answers, a bible that claims a true source, or those others who claim knowledge, when we stop seeking reassurance and validation from without and instead go within, we will have become enlightened.

Meditation, ritual, ceremony and daily prayer will bring inner peace. We hold a clear intention of what we want to manifest our future to be. We become "NAVIGATORS" of our ship and hold our course steady. In our personal lives this means letting go, clearing away, and changing old patterns of dependency, of negativity. To trust to have faith in the divine plan, in the power of manifestation of what is and what we chose to become. As the Hopi Elders say, "this could be a good time!"
